Ketamine-Assisted Therapy is a therapeutic approach that combines the use of ketamine with psychotherapy to help treat a variety of mental health conditions. Most commonly- Depression, PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders and more. At Sub-anesthetic doses, ketamine can induce altered states of consciousness, including dissociation, which can allow patient to access a deeper emotional material and experience shifts in perspective.

Who Ketamine-Assisted Therapy May Be Helpful For
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy may be helpful for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, or a sense of feeling emotionally stuck—especially when traditional treatments have provided limited relief. It can be supportive for those navigating trauma or major life transitions, as well as for people seeking greater emotional flexibility, insight, or a shift in long-standing patterns of thought and feeling. When approached with intention and integrated within ongoing therapy, KAT can offer a gentle opening for reflection, meaning-making, and renewed connection to oneself.
Research suggests ketamine may be beneficial for individuals experiencing:
-
Prolonged or treatment-resistant depression
-
Major depressive disorder
-
Anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety
-
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
In some cases, ketamine-assisted therapy may also be appropriate for other concerns following careful evaluation and clinical judgment by a therapist and medical provider.
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy is most effective when used as part of a comprehensive therapeutic process that includes preparation, guided support, and integration.

Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT): What to Expect
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) typically requires a 4–6 session commitment for optimal efficacy. Before any ketamine-assisted sessions take place, clients engage in one-on-one preparatory therapy to establish intention, explore set and setting, and assess readiness. Ketamine-assisted sessions begin only after this therapeutic foundation is in place.
How Sessions Are Managed
Ketamine-assisted sessions take place in-office using oral ketamine lozenges that are prescribed and medically managed by an independent medical provider. The medication is self-administered under therapeutic supervision.
A licensed therapist remains present throughout the session to provide psychological support, grounding, and emotional containment as needed.
Transportation requirement: Clients must arrange transportation and may not drive on session days.
